Karen has over 30 years experience in competitive riding and teaching. She is well known throughout the local horse industry. Horses have been a passion for her entire life, and continues.

 

As a Junior Rider, she trained with George Morris, and successfully competed in Equitation/Hunter/Jumper divisions up and down the East Coast. Karen had numerous championships including the Florida Sunshine Circuit.  She also worked with Frank Chapot improving skills and rode horses “Felton” and “Rebound” in Open Speed and Grand Prix level competitions.

   
 
Karen remains active in riding, teaching and training daily. She devotes herself to helping others learn to ride, stressing the philosophy of being a complete horsemen and improving proficiency in the art of riding. Each student is encouraged to develop their own goals, and use competition as a measure of their improvement. She has led young riders to be winners and champions at the major shows including Devon, Harrisburg, Washington and Madison Square Garden.
 
Karen is a member of the New Jersey Professional Horseman’s Association, the NJ Horse Show Association, the United States Equestrian Federation,  a member of the USHJA (United States Hunter Jumper Association) and is a licensed USEF Reg, “R” H, J, HE Judge.
